Driving whilst disqualified is when a person has driven a motor vehicle
on a road or road related area during the period of
disqualification, or makes an application for a driver's licence during
the disqualification, falsely stating
their name or incorrectly/does not disclose the disqualification.
You can only be disqualified from driving by a court order.
Penalties include a fine of $3,300 and/or a full time custodial sentence of 18 months. There is also a mandatory minimum disqualification of your driver's licence of 12 months. The court has the power to increase this disqualification.
